Fantastic company to work with, extremely professional and did exactly what they said they could provide.

Massan was super friendly, quick and efficient. One negative was that there were too many emails with too much information that didn’t apply to our circumstances. Emails reminding us about the need to send photos when we had sent them a few weeks before. I guess what I’m actually saying is that the emails were too generic and not tailored to our circumstances. Also when I rang to enquire about the service I was told that the minimum charge was $600 which I expected to be the total amount payable and was surprised/disappointed that I had not been told that GST would be added to that amount.

Test patch: Very happy with the work. The fellas were polite and efficient. Their work was very good. The test patch was rather expensive but now we know we can go ahead. The actual job: ultimately the slate cleaning was excellent. The grout cleaning was not up to the standard of the test patch and had to be redone. Still some heavy wear areas were still not cleaned to the standard of the test patch. It was a difficult job as the grout was very porous and had absorbed quite a bit of dirt over time. The finish on the slate looks excellent. The least satisfactory aspect of an otherwise very good job was the sludge line from the slate stripping left up the mud brick walls of approx 100mm. This will require all the walls to be repainted from the floor up to 150mm. Also the kitchen cabinets where they meet the floor now have a 30mm line of finish on them simply because the technicians weren’t precise enough in the application of the finish near those vertical surfaces. The repainting of the walls was an expense not anticipated, and one that could have been avoided with a bit more care during the stripping process. Overall Janaka and Susantha did a good job, the slate looks terrific, the grout is OK. and after the walls are painted all will be clean and tidy and much more presentable compared to before.

The Tilecleaners were fantastic, they arrived on time, told us exactly what needed to be done and the cleaned up beautifully. My worn old slate floor looks as good as new, I would need to cover it up with carpets any more!

Jin was on time to the job. He was not, however, a good listener to our staff member who was at the premises trying to explain our needs. The staff member phoned the practice manager and put Jin on the phone, but he was not interested to listen to our simple questions or information.

Daniel, An excellent job done, i think the slate floor looks better now than the original. Also thank you for the free extra tile clean in kitchen and bath room, much appreciated. Stonemasters, building back integrity into businesses.

Overall the floor cleaning looks good and was done well. The technician was just over 1.5 hours late - this meant that a staff member needed to be organised at short notice to open up the clinic, and delayed the closure of the clinic by the same amount of time at the end which was quite inconvenient.

The whole process from start to finish was easy. Great result. Daniel is very professional.

Parminder did a great job and was very professional and friendly. I can’t comment too much on how the slate sealing looks as it is still drying overnight. But I’m sure it will be fine. Reegan was also very helpful with discussing/organising the job. The only minor criticism I have about the whole process is that the reminder emails and texts were a bit excessive - I paid the deposit straight away and confirmed the job, but must have got more than 10 emails. Otherwise, all good - thanks!

When Jin had finished, I had three points for feedback: 1. he was professional and friendly, 2. he was clear about what he could and could not do with our old and, in places, damaged and stained floor. 3. he was task focused and thorough in his work. The floor looks so transformed and in better condition than we have seen it in a long time. The team is welcome back for sure! thank you for a great job.

The hallway is fine but the kitchen has scratch marks, l presume from the machine as l can see swirl marks And some areas need more polished.

My slate floor looks amazing, for a floor that is 41 years old, staff attended on time, were respectful to other flooring in my home while doing the job, products used were not strong in smell. Would engage their services again

Madu did a brilliant job in restoring our slate veranda. The weather interfered a few times and rescheduling was necessary but we got over those little problems through good communication. I am very happy for Madu and Stone Master to use their photos as promotion for a job exceptionally well done. No mess was left behind or damage done to our surroundings and the price was most reasonable for the great quality of material and labour that the hard working Madu put in. Dealing with the company and Madu was very good. Some areas of the floor did not restore as well as i had hoped but it is old and i feel Madu did his best with what he had to work with . Madu checked with me regularly to ensure I was happy. A much better experience than my last experience with a tile cleaning company.

Ravi and his crew were on time and friendly and did a great job on cleaning and resealing my slate tile floor. I’m happy with the workmanship however I think the quoted price of $3000 was very expensive based on the work completed for such a small area.

Very sympathetic to the fact that our slate floors had been incorrectly recoated by another party. They received our measurements, gave a very fair quote. Booked a date and did not mind when we had to alter it. Gave personal ie real voice…communication. Came out and expertly restored our floors laid only four years earlier, to their former beauty. Transformed our property which had slate floors throughout. Sent photos when finished. We are very grateful and highly recommend this great team.

Slate looks fantastic. Exactly what I was hoping for. Wet areas look good and clean. Unfortunately, during the process of the slate being cleaned, two of our carpets were stained/damaged. More care needed to be taken to protect the carpets that come up to the slate. (Using towels to stop the carpet from getting wet) See pics. The carpet was wet for 24 hours after the clean, and when dried a dark stain appeared. What is worse is that we only had the carpets professionally dry cleaned 3 weeks ago. Madu is a really nice technician and answered all of our questions, and I would like to have given 5 stars for quality of work as the slate and wet areas came up very nice. But the damage to the carpets has reduced that rating to 3 Stars.

I think sending a person out to the premises to check out the job prior to accepting the job is the best way forward. Robert is a very polite person and easy to communicate with. He left his number to let him know if there were any issues to call him direct. I have asked Robert to come back to do another coat of sealer as he seems to have missed some tiles with the sealer. I think he has avoided using a paint brush for the tiles on the side of the verandah. The roller applicator wasn't the right tool for the side tiles on the verandah. This resulted in missing lots of spots.

How did a good job, however disposed of stripper waste and equipment in my GREEN waste out ready for collection tonight. I sorted as the sun set, only to find stripper rags thrown into my bin! I would have gladly given him a garbage bag to use. The razor blade left in top of my recycling bin was pure laziness and thankfully found. He was so tired on arrival so I offered coffee and cool drinks. Joe needs a wake up, very disappointing!

We were very happy with Parminder and his work. What we were not so happy about was the administration problems. The technician who came on Tuesday could not do the work because he said he was unable to get his machine upstairs. Then Tile and Grout rescheduled for another technician to come on Thursday. This was then cancelled on Wednesday and rescheduled for Friday. When we went to pay, the incorrect amount was showing on the invoice. We paid this amount but later in the day we received another invoice showing the correct amount. We then paid the adjustment.

We were a little disappointed that our quote nearly doubled but we understood that our slate needed cutting right back to clean it properly. Joe couldn’t have been more helpful and informed us of the process and advised how to look after the slate after the treatment. Our slate looks amazing, we are very happy with the outcome. I would recommend Tile Cleaners to anyone especially if they have a slate tile. Many thanks, Julie

"Technician" arrived 2 hours after notified arrival time (I was advised by text message @ 8.00 a.m. that his arrival time was estimated to be @ "8.29 a.m." - he arrived @10.30 a.m.!!!!! No courtesy call to advise of expected delay. Pleasant disposition, worked efficiently. Result of his work - the surface preparation resulted in the sealant being absorbed into the tiles inconsistently - resulting in extensive blotchy/patchy appearance. When the technician revisited several days later, he explained what had happened. He then applied 2 additional coats of sealant to the effected areas that day, with only 30 minutes between applications - IT WAS VERY CLEAR FROM HIS EXPLANATION AND WHAT WE SAW, THAT THE PROBLEM WAS EVIDENT - BEFORE HE LEFT ON DAY 1 !!!!! - AND ..... COULD HAVE/SHOULD HAVE BEEN RECTIFIED BY ADDITIONAL COATS APPLIED THAT DAY !!!!! WELL OVERPRICED. A lesson learned by us.

The outcome is disappointing - you could not use it in a before and after promotion! White segments (presumably salt) have emerged in only 24 hours and the look of the stone has not been enhanced by the sealer.

Not happy at all want my money back

I had my bathrooms cleaned and sealed by Joe. He explained the process clearly. I had originally requested stripping but he advised that only deep cleaning and sealing were needed to get the results. This impressed me. My bathrooms look like new now and all the water stains gone. Personally, Joe was very friendly and professional and treated me with respect. He is very knowledgeable of this industry. I wont hesitate to recommend Joe and your company to friends.

Jin Ban was proficient , in the work he undertook however I will not use Tile and Grout Pro again as, I requested slate repairs , was asked by a person at Tile

Parminder arrived on time and was fully aware of what had to be done. He explained the difficulties involved in the cleaning of terracotta tiles and we fully understood that we could not get an "as new" result. He spent a lot of time doing the stripping and sealing with an outcome we are comfortable with. Not a cheap job but one we think was worth it.

Excellent experience. Moorthy left behind a dustpan and brush - we could leave out by arrangement if he wishes to collec. Noting there is a very tricky re-laid tile in the job. I had Can and his helper and they were punctual and courteous. Unfortunately the job could not be done due to the age of the vinyl. Can was helpful and apologetic about the failure to proceed and he cleaned up the mess beautifully. Communication: However, I would like to recommend that the company look into assessing the task prior to booking so it could avoid this kind of issue again. I had tried to communicate my concern re what would be involved in the cleaning and buffing and the accountant who took my deposit assured me she would get someone to talk to me. I also send a reply email requesting same prior to the booked date but did not received any response. As a result I cannot rate value for money or quality of work and especially communication as we couldn't proceed.

Look. Where do I start. Dan is a nice enough guy. The experience was appalling. We were charged 3x market rate, they didn’t turn up first time round as Dan had rugby but “tile and grout pro” told us we had to be home or pay $165 cancellation fee. They forgot to tell us that Dan had rugby and instead made up an excuse about not having the right equipment for the job. Finally, when he did turn up, he was 3 hours late, didn’t complete the job and told us it would be a compromise and we should just ask for a discount as he had to get home and didn’t have time to complete the task. We have instead employed a local provider who is much more professional and proud of his work, and charges $25 per m2 instead of $80/m2. Sadly they were not careful and in fact damaged our carpet, skirting boards, cupboards and doors requiring expensive repairs and replacements. On the plus side, they did give us a discount to enable us to get in a professional to finish the job.

The job was to clean and seal a slate-paved pergola floor that is at least 40 years old. Where it is fully exposed to the weather, the slate had deeply ingrained dirt that I had not been able to remove with commercially available cleaners. The result absolutely exceeded my expectations - all the dirt was removed and the beautiful, natural colours of the slate revealed - colours I hadn't seen in 18 years of living in this house! The whole process only took 2 hours and the technicians were very pleasant to deal with.

It’s a shame this rating system is rating the technician and not the booking company, StoneMasters. StoneMasters Useless. Booked for 9am. No technician at 9am, or 10am. StoneMasters didn’t answer phone. No contact from StoneMasters. I eventually text

Technician arrived on time, was polite -explained what was to be done etc. I was pleased with the finished floor. Unfortunately I was disappointed with the "mess up" with the original booking,--which was booked and confirmed for Thurs18th. Nobody turned up and apparently there had been a "glitch in the system' , resulting in a "hold" on my service. I had taken time from work and moved the furniture, so was not very pleased. Then I received 2 texts stating that if 'I' cancelled, 'i' would be expected to pay $167 . But no rebate if 'nobody' turned up for my service?? This doesnt seem very fair for your customers. Dave was great! The pre booking and booking process was extremely frustrating! In short, I ended up removing a room from the strip

The slate looks ok, but not as good as expected. It was, however damaged by a previous owner who had painted it black. The technician tried to remove the black, but in doing so, left a mess on the tiles and toilet, of black particles from sanding. There was also black water poured on the garden which is not acceptable. There is a small hole/gap and sharp edge on one tile still, perhaps the technician could return and it could be filled with grout? I was also harassed on the phone to make the payment that night, before I had seen the finished work. It was quite expensive for the quality of work.

My floors were beautifully restored and are once again looking amazing. Danny was punctual, professional and friendly at all times. I highly recommend his services to anyone wanting a quality restoration of their slate floors.

Terrible customer service especially once you have paid for the job! Floors looked worse than what they started out with they should have removed old sealer before placing new ‘matte one’ that looks worse off! Asked for some sort of compensation no responses still To this day! Would never recommend this company

The experience with Thilanga a was amazing he went above and beyond throughout the hole job highly rate him. As for Stonemaster I was not the best experience I had a contractor come out then they said they wouldn’t do the job for the price I was quoted so I called stone masters again I was advised that they could do the job at that price and they would get someone direct from the company to come and do it during the weekend. Reason this was being done on the weekend was I couldn’t afford to take another day off due to already losing income because of the first contractor. The weekend came and I received a call from Thilanga which he advised me he was on his way I called stonemaster a number of times to see what the go was with no one answering I eventually got a call back when Thilanga called and told you I was not happy which then I got called back. I was advised that Alex from stonemaster called in sick at night and they had to replace him with a contractor even though I was told by the contractor they got the booking early the day before. Stonemaster apologised for the number of stuff ups that had happened and gave me a 10 percent discount on the job which I personally think wasn’t enough for everything I went through and to lose 2 days of income and get that. Mr Palminder put in maximum effort when undertaking this difficult job (cleaning slate). He was mostly on time but due to unforeseen family circumstances had to postpone the second half of cleaning for 5 days to October 6th. He was helpful in resolving issues and booking of tilers to replace 20 tiles (supplied by us) which had been damaged by the cleaning process. In the preparation stage grouting was not colour matched. Two days after the second coat of new sealer there remain patches of oily material. Also I have not received a receipt for payment on Sunday 18th October.

Full strip back and reseal...The final finish is absolutely fantastic. Their customer service is to the highest standards ( read further as to why I rate this high). Rohit was very professional and efficient. Phone calls and questions were answered very promptly. Initially the job was not what we had expected, we were looking for color enhancement and wet look. The color enhancement was excellent but once dried the wet look had not been achieved. When contacted they were very responsive and returned a week later (due to rain delay) and it was not an issue at all for them to achieve the final result we required. I was so very happy with Dimitri and the work he did at my home. He went above and beyond to clean and re seal my slate floors, especially as they didn't have an even surface, so not a straightforward job. Thank you to Parminder who has stripped and sealed our old (30 years) solvent sealer which had a few old coatings of solvent sealer on our slate floor. The area that he had to do was 40m2 which was out door under cover in our BBQ area and front entry area. During the time Parminder has spent doing the job he has explained all the process in detail and was very polite and thought full to our requirements. Parminder made a very difficult task look easy. He has done the job to our entire satisfaction. I would recommend him as a technician with an excellent knowledge of stripping and sealing old solvent type sealers on slate floors.

This whole experience has been a nightmare. Although the floor came up good the damage that was done was terrible. The paintwork on the walls was marked in several places and the skirting boards which are solid oak are completely ruined. They weren't protected against the cleaner or the sealant and so got filthy and wet through. They have now buckled and come away from the wall. Trying to get any repairs done by the tile company, Stonemaster, aka Tile and Grout Pro, is a nightmare. They say they are looking into it and then ignore you. I would advise anybody out there never to use this company.

I had arranged with Ben in your office when booking that I would be able to pay half on the day and then the remainder in 2 weeks. When I mentioned this to Daniel he flatly refused saying he had never heard of this in the eight years he was doing the job. Then he became quite difficult saying you need to leave me alone so I can get on with this job. He wanted to check with your office but to tell you the truth I no longer wanted to pursue the option that was given to me. I was actually a little upset with this. Your business agreed to payment options to win my business but then your technician refused. The job that you did was ok but I can't see myself recommending you to any of my family or friends.

Sam sent a text when he was on his way and also, when he arrived which was on dead on time. A very friendly man who explained all facets of the job prior to starting. we were told that two small dents will be fixed no problems but it has not done and I get excuses like car broke down etc . Slates were washed cleaned and apparently they sealed them before they are fully dried and cured and then sealed and do three coats too quickly results are tiles have gone unatural whitey ! They were quick toleave when completed and I was pressed to pay up quickly that dont seem good . I am tradesman myself and I can see their doings .. it is so hard to have things done properly very hard as we feel we were rushed over by fast buck businessmen that gave us pages of policies etc any how these guys are nice .. but I see they are not qualified trade men . Why give us this problems then you ask us for rating QQ's ? You would not do that if you are genuine trade men . I have learnt my lesson about choosing right trades men . Sorry peter

Daniel was asked to clean and seal a 30 year old slate floor that had been "ignored" for all of that time, mostly as a rental, and had a 1m long stain in the middle. He was on the job within 3 days of the quote being accepted and brought it back to new within a few hours. Fantastic effort supported by a knowledgeable

Daniel refinished my slate tiles. He was great. Very efficient and friendly. Warned me about the finish possibly not being perfect because of the age of my tiles but it all ended up looking great. Everything worked as planned.

David was very efficient and did a very good job. He knows his trade well. This type of work is not cheap but it is hard going with toxic chemicals. There was a small patch which once it had dried wasn’t as I would have liked so I rang David to discuss it and he came back right away and rectified the issue which was great.

We had very old slate tiles that had not been cleaned in about 10 years (they were in a garage). The technician put in extra effort to ensure the tiles were thoroughly treated and sealed and they look great. Very happy with the technician.

Very very very disappointed in the outcome of my floor and appalled by the non quality of of customer service provided as was told they would revisit to see what I was unhappy about I un to get a call the day before trying to give me excuses as to why my floor was not up to standard I expected my husband can do the same job BETTER and as it hadn’t been stripped for a long time disappointed when I specifically asked for it to have a really good strip back we were away for two weeks so thought it would be perfect to get done for when we got home save my husband a job boy was I wrong just wasted $1000. Arrived home last night and I am very disappointed with the end result. The floor is very patchy and dull in places and there dose not appear to be much stripping done. To me, I think it needs a second coat, at least, as the shine is also very patchy. If this is the best that can be done, I am tempted to pull the whole floor out. Unfortunately the two guys rocked up almost 45 minutes after the stated time of 9am. They did what I assumed was stripping then what seemed like a very minuscule addition of two coats of solvent to seal.. We have had this slate floor for almost 25 years and this would be the worst finish that I have seen from a company doing this kind of job. Not sure whether I was supposed to get a dull looking finish but I was very disappointed with it. Needless to say I will be looking elsewhere next time.

The sealer was not completely stripped and as it previously had a water based surface gloss finish the application of a natural sealer (which I was advised on the phone was what I should have applied) means the floors are patchy and a lot of ingrained dirt remains. Now it is daylight it looks horrendous. Patchy, gloss in parts matt in others, streaky, stained, by the skirting boards has not really been touched. I was told by the technician stripping the sealer does not actually mean stripping the sealer it means taking the top layer of sealer off. Unfortunately the fact sheet emailed to me misrepresented what the process was and what the outcome would be. It was a complete waste of money. The section I had done myself was much better and it now looks worse. It was annoying as there was no reason it could have been done better - I was happy to pay more to have it done properly. The machine has left lines and streaks everywhere as well - I will have to get it redone or rip the tiles up basically as this process has ruined them. It was better before it was 'stripped and sealed' - which was not what actually occurred. The technician and his assistant were polite, took care of my home and were on time. Happy to send photos through. The photos taken yesterday whilst it was cloudy and the sealer wet do not represent the final outcome. Had I known the outcome I would never have proceeded. $1250 is a lot of money to have essentially thrown away.

Daniel was very confident he could restore our slate without damaging adjoining wood floors and the skirting boards and clearly had a number of years experience in the industry. This was reassuring, as we were very concerned about our wood being affected. After a solid half day's work (and two and a half full days to dry completely) our tired slate floors have come up very well. Overall we're very happy with the result and would certainly look to book Daniel by name when we next clean/reseal the slate.

The slate looks amazing. The cost was reasonable. Zac really did the job quickly and efficiently.

The communication was five star although if anything too repetitive and was daily for nearly a week both on email and phone text - it was a little excessive. Value for money was not so good especially for such a small space as the job was completed in only one and half hours. The technician was one and a half hours early (luckily even though our studio doesn't open on a Saturday I was able to attend as I live close) Although the arranged time was 1pm, I received a text at 11 am giving me warning that the tech. would be at the address in 20 minutes. I tried to respond but realised that I was responding to an app. as the recording replied that the number was not connected. I then tried to contact the customer service number on the web site and it rang out. Upon meeting the tech. (and he did offer to come back at 1pm), his advice was excellent. I had arranged on an earlier email to have damaged tiles replaced, because I had some spare, but was informed by the tech. that he couldn't do this part of the job. So my advice from your company about being able to replace any damaged tiles was incorrect. He said it was a service he was not able to offer and said he had no prior knowledge that he was expected to do that part of the job. Luckily he was able to remove all dirt and scuff marks from the damaged areas and the quality of his work was excellent. He also helped a jewellery client of ours who happened to call in whilst I was not there. Very impressed with his professionalism and work. Nicholas Pike.

Generally, the job was satisfactory but I was disappointed that a better job was not done at stripping the tiles in the kitchen. I think that with a little more effort the tiles could have been stripped of all the build up of wax etc. The final finish was a bit of a let down. I was hoping for a nice polished surface but for the most part the finish was flat. It seems that the tiles needed a third or a fourth coat of polish to achieve the desired result.

The floor came up beautifully, the slate had been many years since it was sealed and after Daniel stripped and cleaned it and then coated it again, it is like a new floor. It looks like the day it was laid originally 25 years ago, and is so much easier to clean now. Thanks Daniel.

I booked the lino strip and polish for the Monday and asked to check the quote before the work started. The quote said $385. On Monday, I drove 40 minutes to let Daniel into the house and no one showed up. I spent half an hour trying to contact the person I booked though and finally found a number - the one on the quote was incorrect. They took half an hour to get back to me and made another booking for another day. Daniel showed up and said $350 and to pay on the day. He would sort it out with his boss. I was sent an outstanding account a couple of weeks later for $35. I sent an email to ask why I was paying more when the agreed price was $350 and it was paid for - I had no response. I phoned up and was told I had to pay on the quoted price (but no one had seen what was going to be done to give me a proper quote). I emailed in a complaint. Someone rang me a week later and said the bill was clear and didn't want to listen to a word I said. Daniel did a good job but he was the only one. I cannot recommend this business at all. They do not operate honestly and have no customer service.

Zac did a very good job. He was very patient stripping the old surface, which he worked out was a water based lacquer over a solvent based one. He persisted till he managed to get it right and with the coat of new lacquer it now looks very nice. I would recommend his work to anyone. This is not a complaint against Wade personally. This is about the products and service that Tile Cleaner is providing. I had the floor treated by you guys with a new layer of sealer just last Saturday. Firstly, I am very disappointed that the sealer has left water marks on the floor instead of a smooth finish. Secondly, the sealer is of such poor quality that there are already scratch marks everywhere within less than a week of traffic on that. And although we are a commerical premises, our traffic is really not that heavy. Now our floor looks worse than before it was treated. Money is never my main concern but I totally don't see the value for my $1200 here. I can send you a picture if you want but I am not being hopeful that you guys will reply to me anyways. Now I need to spend more money and time to get someone else to fix what you guys have caused.

Zac was an outstanding tradesman. Recently, I have been overseeing the installation of a new kitchen and the renovation of the floor of a house. Zac was probably the most professional tradesman of all the tradespeople we have employed for this project. He was well-informed, cared about hsi ork, had obvious pride in what he does and delivered an excellent job. I highly recommend him to anybody interested in getting their old lino floors cleaned. He did 65sqm for us and the job was tip top from beginning to end with plenty of communication at each stage of it.

Again it was a pleasure having Adam and Joe attending. The are terrific staff that work for your organisation. This time work was completed externally around the house. On the day the temperature was around 38 degrees. 10 to 20% of the work was not undercover and in the direct sunlight The tiles not under cover I think were to hot and dried to quickly leaving a white residue in the grout between the tiles. David was great but I don't think the actual booking matched up. I think someone should have come round and tested my slate before deciding what job needed doing and I would have been happy to pay for this. David told me about the two different types I could have done and I would have gone with the more expensive type if I had known beforehand so I could have arranged to move out of the house for 3 days while it was being done.

Good morning - thank you for the opportunity to review. Technician was quite late - i booked a 8:00am start so that i could meet prior to work commencing - Technician arrive well past 9:00 am. I was of the understanding that we would have a chemical strip prior to resealing the floor? This did not occur, they used a water base stripper. I was advised the work would take 3 days? All works were apparently completed within several hours. a lot of time and energy invested into getting baby sitters for young children ( this was unnecessary) and of an additional cost$$$ Quality of the strip and seal raises questions - we were advised on completion that the floor has water ingress issues and we need to have this fixed. Why were we not advised prior to completing the seal?? We are a non smoking family, i don't expect to ever have to clean up cigarette butts from workers attending my home. Adam was very polite but all up we are not overly impressed with our experience.

What a lovely person. Your Organisation should be very of having Adam as part of your Team. Also Joe his offside is in the same mould. The work completed looks great and we were fully informed on the process. Both Adam and Joe will be returning next week to complete the work outside. Sally and I look forward to them returning. Adam will also be advising us on how best too maintain the floor inside and out.

After cleaning & re-sealing our sandstone floors look like new. Daniel did a great job at the right price.

Very happy with the job carried out. Our dull vinyl floors looked amazing when cleaned and sealed. The only thing I would suggest, is if our premises had of been inspected beforehand, we would have had a more accurate quote, but most importantly time frame. What we thought was going to be a four hour job ended up seven hours.

Steve had very good interpersonal skills, and communicated well. We were very pleased with the cleaning and sealing he provided. However, we were not happy with the repairs to our tiles and some of the re-grouting work.

Zac was very professional, friendly and hard working.

Joe attended our job and while we found him very personable he wasn't completely informed about our job, (didn't have any grout) was running late 1.5hrs (did phone to advise) and rushed through the grouting repairs missing quite a few spots. I originally asked for an onsite quote before booking the job and was told it could be assessed by sending photos which I did. I strongly believe that our needs could have been much better met if someone had done an onsite quote to assess the extent of the work (even if there was a charge). While Joe did his very best to address areas of concern and did his best to complete the job I believe the grouting and sealing process was rushed as the stripping was more extensive than first thought. I tried to convey this both over the phone to John and a girl (sorry can't remember her name) and by email. I know that tile cleaners could have done a much more thorough job and that it would have cost a lot more to do it properly I just wish that had been quoted up front instead of being pressured on the day to go ahead with a half hearted attempt to make it look a bit better. Obviously overall very pleased with the result. Thought we would have a more gloss finish. John agreed to came back on an agreed evening to see how it had dried re gloss finish. Disappointed that he did not show up as agreed. We believe the floor needs another final coat of sealer/gloss to look its best. After payment of $1485.00 we trust that this can be completed to our satisfaction.

I recognise up front that the job was not easy. The slate tiles are uneven and the grout discoloured. However, I would have expected better advice upfront - John didn't seem to know what would be the best solution. Yes, he stripped and sealed the tiles, but $2300 for just 1 day of work by two people seems extremely excessive. However, the grout is left in a worse condition that it started, John tried a few things including experimenting with a bit of grout paint. He says he will come back sometime in the future and fix it 'for free', but I've lost all confidence, and will prefer to pay and expert grout painter to come in and fix the grout. I paid for the job, but feel ripped off.

Hi Team, Pasan is a lovely person. The slate looks great, however I'm just a tad disappointed that some grout fill ins were done using black grout which doesn't quite match. I left the house just after the slate was cleaned, so did not see the colour of the grout which was being used to fill holes. My hubby was home but he was in his office working and could not oversee the job. Where our grout needed some darkening, it doesn't look as though the colour has darkened at all, however Pasan did say to wait a month or two and it may darken up. I'm happy to do that, but if it doesn't you will need to return to rectify. There were quite a lot of paint dots on the slate, some of which we pointed out to Pasan, which he removed, however others not pointed out were overlooked and sealed over. It's not a big deal, but I would have thought there should have been more attention to detail. Overall, I am satisfied of the good job which was done and would certainly use your services again. Daniel is a credit to your business. He did such an amazing job. His attention to detail was outstanding and he had such a professional attitude. Actually, I'd like to ditch my husband and marry Daniel! I'm a bit of an OCD clean freak and I think we would be very compatible ( especially considering we are both Virgo) I'm still basking in the glory of being told my floor was the cleanest he has EVER worked on.

I am astounded that any business offering to provide a service at a home does not offer FREE quotes. If a representative had called after my initial call, assessed the work that had needed to be done and provided a valid quote the resulting inconvenience of my wife and family having to re arrange our schedules and arrange help to replace our furniture after the completion of the job, not once but twice would have been avoided.As it was the amount of furniture we had to move to allow the work to be completed left us with a table and two chairs not just for a day but three days . The saving grace was the fact that Daniel and his mate did a good job and left everything clean and tidy .Having been in business myself for a number of years before my retirement I know that good staff is the most valuable asset a company can have . I rang and spoke to your office last week about the fact that although the stripping/resealing work was only done about 6 weeks ago, there are already dry, white-ish patches developing on the lower steps. As I said to your female colleague on the phone, I would like one of your experienced technicians to come and look at the steps, and give their opinion on why this is happening. I emphasised that I am quite happy to wait until you have an operative in the area, and am not expecting your to make a special journey if we live a long way from your base. I also am reserving judgement on the quality of your technician's work until then. However your female colleague was adamant that any follow up visit would have to be paid for, and given I am not happy with the result at the moment, I think this is unreasonable and told her so. We have a number of substantial areas of slate flooring and a couple of bathrooms with slate lining in our house; unless I get an experienced technician's opinion from your company on the current state of our front steps, I certainly will not be seeking any quotes or further work from you. Can I say initially I think the job carried out was very poor.We have always used the services of a local tiler until he left the district. He carried out the same procedure as your tiler and it always took about 5 hours to do the job.I was a little dismayed when my wife advised the job was carried out in about half that time.My wife called yesterday to report some problems also forwarding photos and was assured by someone in your office she would be called back.This hasn't happened.Without pretending to be an expert I would suggest the preparation was very poor and the sealer application was very underdone. What do you suggest can be done. The contractor you used was a very pleasant young man( who said if we had a problem to call him but of course the call is diverted to you)who I believe was unskilled in the job.We are $2000 poorer with problems we didn't have before the job was done.What can you do?

Very deceptive quoting, no mention of cost being higher than quote until work finished. Don't trust information you are given on costs.

Daniel was efficient, paid attention to detail and was polite and charming. I am very happy with the work he did and would recommend him to anyone needing tile cleaning and restoration.

The whole experience with Perth Tile Cleaners was fantastic. Applied for a quote on a Saturday and did not expect a relply. But was asked to send photos of the job required. By Monday they had quoted and called, Tuesday a very professional and expert job of my slate tiles was completed. Could not be happier. The job actually cost less than the quote. The finish on the floor is not what we asked for even after a second visit to try and fix. It is completely different to the last time we used the same service. You demanded that I pay the invoice yesterday even though I was still not happy and assured me that "Adam" would contact me directly to discuss and re-visit again to fix if required. Still have not been contacted.

I think the overall job is satisfactory... however due to the non-removal of the previously applied solvent based sealer -there is a difference between the hard-wearing and the protected areas (rugs, etc) that is still evident... I would like to know which sealer was used- was it a penetrating or topical water-based sealer? & what type & brand?- Adam did tell me but i have forgotten. In the future, I will probably use a dremel tool and redo the grout myself ( a very tedious prospect), before trying to remove the old solvent sealer from the tiles, which look very "plastic" (speciality business for this- not me) and then reseal with the water based sealant next time. (The grout has dirt trapped in the different solvent sealer layers - my fault- and i can't see any other solution) --Even if this means we have to move out for a few days... Where Adam treated the newly laid tiles/ grout, I am extremely pleased with the result, but unfortunately now want my entire floor to be just like it-( if i hadn't relaid some sections i wouldn't have been able to compare, but the "new" area is how i want the whole floor to look like now, especially the grout!

We had this done before we went away to NZ for a long holiday Now that we are back I've noticed that every doorway has the old dirty tile look under each door, due to the fact they were all shut. Surely you would of opened each door into each room and steam upto the seam?? It looks quite bad especially in the daylight and visitors are pointing it out to us. Also there is one tile that has not come clean and that sticks out too.' Please can you get back to us immediately as I'm not happy as it cost me $10000 Leanne

This is difficult because I don't have a complaint against the gentleman at all. I watched as he did his work and he was thorough and meticulous. However I am somewhat disappointed with the end result. It did not come up as shiny as I'd expected (for a newly laid flooring) and my dusty footprints leave very visible marks on the lino. I had expected that the seal would make the floor resistant to marking. I've not yet washed the floor so don't know how easily they can be removed. Sorry, I didn't take any pics but I can do so if you wish. Thanks and regards Irena Williams.

The service provided was excellent. The tradesman arrived on time, the quality of the work was oustanding and in my opinion very good value for money.

Technicians unable to remove solvent tile sealer ( explained in my booking email). Got charged a $60 call out fee despite tile cleaners being unable to rectify the problem. Resolved myself in the end using Xylene to activate the tile sealer and redistribute over tiles. Only minor top up with fresh solvent tile sealer required. Total cost $140 ($80 xylene + $60 for hire of floor polisher) plus my labour of 4 hours (c.f with $25 per square metre quoted by tile cleaners). As a result of your incompetence and lack of experience with solvent based floor sealers you lost a $2000 job. Regards

Aside from the arriving on time issue (1 hour late) which was critical because I took time off work to be at home & made a confirmation call the night before to confirm the time, happy with Tile Cleaners.
