Tile & Grout Cleaning

Cleaning & Maintenance

Revive your surfaces to their best possible condition with our professional tile and grout restoration service designed to rejuvenate your tiles and grout lines, removing discolouration and restoring them to their optimal state.

How it Works: Our process begins with a surface treatment to loosen and break up grime or dirt. We then employ industrial cleaning machines with a rotary scrubbing system and hot, high-pressure water to lift and remove the treated dirt. Our machines have built-in vacuums to extract excess residue, which is then disposed of outside. This method ensures the dirt and grime are completely removed rather than redistributed like with traditional steam mops or vacuums. Our technicians also utilize various cleaning detergents to assist in stain removal. Please note that deep stains may require resurfacing or additional treatments, depending on the type of surface and nature of the stain. Our technicians will assess your surface upon arrival and discuss any concerns.

Additional Charges:

  • Wet areas (bathroom, toilet, laundry) are double the rate per m2 as they typically require more attention and time.
  • Excess mould treatment with chlorine: From $5 extra per m2.
  • Efflorescence and rust stains with a light acid wash or alternative treatment (depending on the stone): From $8 extra per m2.
  • Grout haze removal with an acid wash: From $15 extra per m2.
  • Factory wax removal for newly laid tiles: From $8 extra per m2.
  • Carpet/vinyl Residue: From $10 per m2.
  • Additional treatments may incur extra charges per m2.

Preparation Instructions: Please ensure all areas for cleaning are prepared before our arrival, and as much furniture as possible is moved. This allows our technicians better access for a more thorough cleaning.

Important Information:

  • Drying time is approximately 30 minutes, depending on the type of stone and location.
  • Cleaning will restore your tiles to their best possible condition, but damaged, aged, or heavily stained surfaces may not return to their original state with cleaning alone and could require additional services.
  • Note that cleaning procedures may pose a small risk of loosening or removing grout, particularly with aged, loose, or unstable grout. In such cases, grout repairs or regrouting may be necessary at an additional cost.

  • Photos help us provide you with more accurate pricing and allow our technicians to be prepared for the work requested.
  • Quotes provided without photos & accurate descriptions are only rough estimates based on the information available at the time of inquiry. Actual costs may vary depending on the specifics of the job.

03/06/2026 Massan came back which we appreciate. However he basically said there is nothing more he can do to fix the discolouration of the grout. We are very disappointed. We are also unconvinced by the explanations we have been given. 1. On the first visit, when we pointed out the colour differences in different areas of grout, Massan said it would all look the same when it dried, but it doesn't. 2. Ben said the problem was the age of the grout. But why is the appearance so uneven? The grout in the bathroom upstairs is fairly uniformly lighter coloured (and was pretty much before the cleaning process). Massan tried to explain that there is a difference between upstairs and downstairs in terms of the surface on which the tiles were laid, but I couldn't understand why this would make a difference. 3. Massan then tried to explain that because it is a cement grout, which would have been mixed at the time when the tiles were laid, that the colour would not be uniform. So now the problem was there from the beginning, not because the grout is old? Neither of us think this is a likely or valid explanation. We accept that the tiles and grout are clean, but are very disappointed that much of the grout still looks dirty. 20/05/2026 We are not happy with the job Massan did. 1. He was booked in for 3 hours, but what he did only took 1.5 hours. 2. The machine he used just looked like a tile cleaner, not something specific for grout. Our tiles were clean, we just wanted the grout cleaned. 3. When he finished, I pointed out that there were still areas where the grout looked dirty, compared to lighter coloured areas. He said don't worry, once it dried properly it would all look the same. It doesn't. 4. He left his card, from The Clean Master Australia. So I gather he is a subcontractor. 5. We were expected to pay on completion, even though the grout wasn't dry so we couldn't tell if the cleaning had worked. 6. There are some chips in the tiles that weren't there before. 7. Massan took photos before and after, but I would be very surprised if they show much difference. I also took more photos. We would appreciate this problem, that our grout is still not clean, despite paying $550, being rectified. Perhaps someone could come for the other 1.5 hours, with a machine or brush specifically for cleaning grout, to clean the worst areas. We would rather not have to move all the furniture again.
