Stone Resurfacing

Polishing & Finishing

Stone resurfacing is usually required if you have any etching or deep scratching on the surface of the stone. Resurfacing can also be a solution to repairing any major cracks that could have occurred on the surface. Stone resurfacing is a combination of services applied at once. We can make an assessment into grinding, honing or polishing your surface depending on the type of stone you have. We can also do perform resin repair work and tile replacement at an additional cost for various natural stones.

How it Works
We are able to complete concrete and resin infills all dependent on what specific type of stone you have and how much repair work is required. Once the surface is to your satisfaction, it will be sealed with a specifically selected sealer. The sealers used to seal your surface will vary in accordance to the type of stone, its porosity and the lifetime length of the sealer. Some sealers have a longer life time than others, some will penetrate through less porous surfaces and others wont. Our highly regarded technicians have the expertise to define exactly what sealer will be the very best for your surface. The technicians carry a diverse collection of sealers in their vehicles at all times, therefore they able to provide a range of alternative products to suit your specific requirements.

Sealer Choices
- DeepShield Transparent Penetrating Sealer (10 year lifetime)

Garth, John and Clara were professional and provide good service. As identified in the photos there are areas and holes overlooked that will need to be rectified when they are back in the area.

Garth’s knowledge on how to rejuvenate stone surfaces is second to none. He was able to restore our old and very stained balcony terrazzo floor to like new. Also, Donald from TileandGroutPro was extremely helpful in arranging Garth to transform our 60 year old terrazzo floor.

The service from start to finish was excellent. The technicians who did the job were very capable and knowledgeable, and offered suggestions regarding other things that needed attention. My 14yo marble bathroom tiles are now looking like new, and I'd forgotten how beautiful my limestone outdoor entry stairs could look. After sales service was friendly and efficient as well. Highly recommended!
