The team was professional and friendly. Worked quickly/hard and communicted well and knew their products and how to work with tiles. Our only issue was clean up. Our yard/ grass was impacted with waste water and epoxy grout, which lead to epoxy being walked into house on shoes. Small issue of epoxy ending up on door handles, walls, hoses and nozzles. Overall a good experience and were happy with the results. Our grass is recovering but we shouldn't have had to clean up. Would highly recommend this team (with a little attention to keeping it clean)

I am pleased with the work that Madu did. It was difficult to understand at times what he was saying. He didn't always arrive when he said he would but that could have been a communication issue. I have one question. What product can I use to remove Silicone from the shiny tiles in the bathroom.

I was really unimpressed with the work for a min call out fee of $500. I wanted to call and make a complaint, but I was away for work trip this weekend. The job was to replace a broken tile

The tiler Moorthy was excellent, kept me up to date with any issues, cost involved and any possible risks while completing the job, He completed the job and respected my premises whilst doing the job. He was very careful, no damage occurred. Company sent reminders of bookings and requested information about the job, before attending. Excellent work

Frank did a great job. We wish we had been told about the clean and seal for the tiles when booking and not two days before the job started. Might be worth coming out to do physical Inspections so you can have these conversations. It was too late to make that decision that would probably double the price for us.

Technician was profession and approachable. He explained clearly and honestly what can be achieved and what will be done to get the best outcome.

Franjo replaced the tiles efficiently and cleaned up well after himself. The replaced tiles look great, and it's hard to see that they have been replaced, they blend in so well with the rest. He arrived half an hour early which could have been an issue as I had only just got home 10 minutes before that. Obviously being late to a job is not good, but being too early has it's problems as well. Please don't assume that a 0900 appointment means that the client is going to be home all morning before that. Also, as energetic a personality as he has, he still needs to watch his language a bit more. Cheers though, for a job well done.

Replacement of a broken floor tile - the actual replacement was very well executed, the tile required a number of of close cuts to fit around some cabinets and it's a nice job. BUT ... the mess was spectacular. First the tile grout had to be cut, not much dust, but then an angle grinder was applied to the tile to break it up and this was done without any dust control (not even shutting the door to the room resulting in fine porcelain dust on every horizontal and vertical surface over ~ 200 m^2. It took two of us two days of solid work to clean the majority of the dust up (the library will need every book removed from shelves and individual cleaning).

Moorthy was a pleasure to deal with. He worked hard to get the best result for us. He was punctual, polite and provided excellent workmanship. We are extremely pleased with the end result.

We had some cracked and broken tiles to replace. Franjo, from Tile and Grout Pro, turned up at the appointed time. He has had 36 years as a tiler and it showed in the final result. Couldn't be happier. The tiles were replaced and you cannot see where the work was done - Seamless... It was all done in a most efficient way and the work areas were left clean. 5 STAR RATING.

Although the technician was friendly and polite, the quality of work was not worth what I paid for. Several scrach damages were made on existing tiles. An edge of a tile was chipped.He left the site not fully cleaned and I had to wipe the floor and clean the sink with silicon debris. I would not call it a professional work - 1 star. But the assistance from the call center was timely and appropriate, hence adding another star to communication.

Unfortunately I could not recommend your tiler. He was originally booked on 4th March and when he arrived he was unprepared for the work and told us he didn't have the rubber glue required or the grout (misty grey). I gave the office all the details of the job including where the tiles were located in our bathroom and the colour of the grout. He then told us we would have to rebook the job. It was only when my husband was beginning to get annoyed that he quickly said he would come back the next day. This was not a good beginning and did not fill us with confidence. The following day did not go much better. The tiler had difficulty removing the cracked tile in our ensuite and accidentally took a large chip out of the tile beside it. We understand this can happen with tile removal and he said that he would replace this tile. However when removing these tiles he also chipped along the edges of several tiles around them and some of these chips are quite noticeable. The replacement full tile is also not sitting flush with the surrounding tiles and you can see and feel the difference between the tiles. My husband spoke with the tiler about the chipping and told him he was not happy with the quality of the work. We were told that there was nothing further he could do to rectify this and we had to expect chipping. I have also sent the office an email separately and would like someone from the office to contact us to discuss further.

From beginning to end the service was fantastic. A human phoned to book me in. Then Chris the tiler was in contact every step of the way. Great work. It’s very difficult to find people to complete very small tile jobs. These guys are great. Thank you.

Sam was great, had the skills and the knowledge to get the job done and looking great. He also had the patience to lift the difficult shower tiles. They were hard work and took longer than the other floor tiles, no whinging no exasperated look on his face, just good communication and professionalism in telling me the job would take a little longer than expected. As a retired builder I’m not easily pleased but Tile and Grout Pro and Sam were great. Would recommend them to anyone. DW

Great job - as it was a small repair we had alot of problems getting someone to come and do it so we were very happy with the work. The only issue was the billing at the completion and the issue with multiple transactions. I am thankful that it was sorted in a couple of days and there was a followup phone call to check this. Chris was a quiet professional and tidy worker. Chris did exactly what we booked redoing grout in one shower and replacing 25 cracked floor tiles that were spread throughout the home. Chris contained the dust and mess during the process and left the replaced tiles looking great, they were level and matched in the checkered pattern perfectly and cut around drains precisely. The shower regrout and silicon was done well and left lovely and clean. I would use him again. Thank you.

Some time ago we had our shower replaced, for some unknown reason they used a yellow grout, why, the whole bathroom has tiles and both the floor and walls are routed white. Now your chap has used grey grout when I distinctly said it needs to colour match the rest. I have uploaded photos We now have a shower which is all grey, panel outside the snower which has yellow grey and white and the rest of the bathroom which is whit grout. What am I to do? I think somebody needs to come and have a look and see what we can do to correct the situation. Richard Mika

Harry was reliable and was thorough. He did a great job. The only negative would be feedback about tile cutting. Best to do in a space with minimal dust flying everywhere. Also, l wish the company would take the old tiles away. It should be included in price. Overall no problem with Harry's work. Thanks Harry!

We were greatly impressed by the finished job and in particular the cleanliness of the end result. We had 32 square metres of tiles regrouted. We had put drop sheets over difficult to dust items. It was really unnecessary as the tiler had managed to work so cleanly. I would highly recommended this company.

While the tradesman was prompt and polite the grout is nothing like the existing colour, there are holes between the grout and the tiles and there are burst blisters of sealing on the repair job.

Harry is such a good worker, he did a great job fixing our slate steps , cleverly patched and grouted. He’s nice too, very careful in his work.

The technician that carried out the work left a mess that took 3 days to clean.

Too much time was spent on areas that were not very soiled and not enough on the main traffic areas, ie hallway, kitchen and main bathroom.

Chris was such a great technician. He explained everything to me about the job and educated me about tile care. I have come across a few trades people recently and he exceeded customer service and care by a mile. He is a great technician to have on your team.

The 2 technicians that worked on our balcony regrout were very punctual, courteous and did a good regrout job. The only thing I will say is that the clean up which I had to undertake has been a more difficult task than just using warm water with vinegar as was suggested by Ricky. The tiles were left with visible marks from the epoxy which are proving difficult to remove. Given the job was a balcony regrout I would have thought the very front row of tiles exposed to the weather would have been silicon sealed to make the whole balcony water-tight to prevent further damage to the underside of the balcony which was the prime reason for having the balcony regrouted.

The only concern that I have is that the grouting was not well matched. All other aspects were excellent. Price was ok, but not excellent.

We felt the tile cleaning service could have been better. The stains on our tiles that we wanted removed were still there after the clean. The attendant was polite.

Frank was very professional and polite. He even arrived early - we received a text half an hour before arrival to say that he was on his way. He did a very good job replacing four tiles in our bathroom, especially two of which were quite difficult. When we realised that we could not close the bathroom door where two of the tiles had been replaced, he returned promptly and relayed them. We would definitely use Frank again for any tile work and would recommend him to others.

We are very pleased with Ishaq’s work , he did a professional job.

Frank was very good with his customer service, letting me know when he was arriving and working hard to produce a very good result. Unfortunately, out tiles to be replaced were very solidly attached to the slab and took a lot of effort to remove - but Frank kept on going until he got the tiles up and replaced them with our replacement tiles. It is a messy business, but Frank did a good clean up and was very customer focussed.

Our tile repair and regrouting work done by Isaac was excellent. Isaac did a great job and understood exactly what we needed to achieve. Custom service was very good, timing for the job was spot on and final appearance of the bathroom and shower brilliant. I would highly recommend Melbourne Tile

Frank was fantastic! However the time of booking went from 9am changing to 12pm the day before to several phone calls and finally showing up just after 4pm. NOT HAPPY!!! I asked the lady whi rang the day before the booking to change time if I could pay by bank cheque and was told yes only to find out that you can't. Again NOT HAPPY. The job was great but custoner service sucks.

Good operater

The slate looks ok, but not as good as expected. It was, however damaged by a previous owner who had painted it black. The technician tried to remove the black, but in doing so, left a mess on the tiles and toilet, of black particles from sanding. There was also black water poured on the garden which is not acceptable. There is a small hole/gap and sharp edge on one tile still, perhaps the technician could return and it could be filled with grout? I was also harassed on the phone to make the payment that night, before I had seen the finished work. It was quite expensive for the quality of work.

Michael was a really nice guy and hard worker. He tried hard to satisfy my expectations. He admitted that he hadn't done this type of job before and quite frankly used the wrong technique for filling travertine, leaving my expensive travertine looking terrible.

We are very happy with the final result.

I thought that when he removed the tiles there would have been a tool with vacuum attached to give minimal dust . the house looked as though i had left the doors and windows open during a sandstorm. the kitchen. living and dining areas were covered it gritty dust I had to get my cleaner to come in. the shower floor looks like a poor DIY job. Ryan disregarded my request to remove is boots before going into the carpeted bedroom from the gritty dust covered in the living area. i asked him to use the laundry sink to clean his equipment but found him using the sink in the en suite and used half of one of my toilet rolls to clean his equipment. worst experience i have ever had with a contractor. i can send pics of shower or ideally come and inspect the program does not seem to respond when i try to remove stars so value for money is 3 stars , customer service is 2 stars and value for money is 2 star. iI was very surprised because the communication was so good forget the stars read the comments because the stars tend to want to be 5 Tony Cooper

He didn't have the same colour of grout and we agreed to do it. However, he came back second time so I thought he may have the similar colour of grout but he didn't.

Ryan was good. Kept me informed on what he was doing. He explained to me what to do after the work was completed. Eg not to use the shower etc.

I appreciate Ben getting me a tiler when I got the dates mixed up . However, I thought it was a bit steep of Ahmet to say the job would be $800 more than the quote. However, I was desperate to get the job done and I think Ahmet knew that. So I ended up paying $2,200 for 2 tilers/grouters for 7 hours. ( over $150 per hour for their labour) . So way tooooo expensive. Also, I didn't appreciate Ahmet leaving all his cigarette butts in my driveway. The job they did was satisfactory. Thank you .

We had very old slate tiles that had not been cleaned in about 10 years (they were in a garage). The technician put in extra effort to ensure the tiles were thoroughly treated and sealed and they look great. Very happy with the technician.

Adam was fantastic. It would have been nice if areas were cleaned up after work, but appreciated his work & efforts.

I have tiles that are loose when walked on, tiles that cracked due to glue not drying correctly. Joe came out and looked at them and blamed it immediately on the car driving over them. The car did crack them however we followed the instructions and did not drive on them for 24 hours. I notified Joe 12 hours after the tiles were laid that the glue had not set and it still did not set after 24 hours. We have had no one from the company call us even though Joe said he would advise head office. Pretty poor given the $800 I spent with you

nice person John, he was working all night for you at Monash- so missed the allotted time to start our job. I had to call to chase him up. Quality seems to be ok - do we get a guarantee? Customer service do not reply to e-mails! We are waiting for him to confirm a time to complete the job.

Adam encountered some unforseen issues in removing the tiles, he overcame these issues and achieved a good result. He explained the issues as he was working and discussed what he would do to achieve a good outcome.

Mike turned up on time and completed the job efficiently and to a high quality. He cleaned up well and gave clear instructions on the care of the work in the next day. Excellent job and good value for money.

I was very impressed with the work carried out by Steve he is willing to explain the process and I would use him again. However when I placed an order for this work I explained there was a requirement to replace 3 tiles when I explained this to Steve he apologised that he was unable to carry out the replacement as he was unable to cut he tile and did not have matching grout. I would have thought prior to allocating a trades person the office would ensure the required equipment would be carried. Colin Young.
